Working with governments, universities, companies & NGOs in countries that are are working toward developing & refining their video game & transmedia industries. Video games are ubiquitous and with everyone having access to the internet and smart phones, games are an effective form of communication globally. Transmedia is an excellent way to get a message to as many people as possible, since it delivers the message through various forms of media simultaneously.
Leading the redesign of the International Game Developer Association (IGDA) Curriculum Framework. The goal of this new framework is that it will be globally adaptive & technology neutral. There are three areas of focus for the Framework; Collaboration in the classroom as well as among faculty, governments & the community, Common Language, which is the common language of video games that are necessary to know in order to discuss game development, & Foundational Knowledge, this is the knowledge that the faculty and students are surrounded with in their community and is removed from technology. This is the history of a place, an awareness of the local video game industry, as well as an understanding that the student population of any program should represent the population of where said program is situated.

The workshops focus on policy and educational games so that they hold the widest appeal to players.
Creating Gender & Ethnicity Neutral Games - A workshop geared toward educational game creators on how to take gender into consideration when developing a game so that the resulting game appeals equally to both female and male players.
Public Policy Games to Create Change - A workshop to help NGOs & Governments understand how games can be used to effectively impact citizens behavior and understanding of an issue.

~ The Vastly Ignored - The majority of global citizens are basically ignored by the video game industry. There are no Triple A studios in most countries, which effects the ways that those countries are viewed and mostly ignored by the video game industry. This talk is a rallying cry for all those voices that go unheard during the game creation process and why it's important for these countries to focus on telling their own stories through games.
